Dr. Jessica Todia DVM – Veterinarian
Dr. Jessica Todia (DVM) has been involved in the veterinary field for 21 years. She began working at a veterinary clinic in Morrow, OH when she was 15 years old. Growing up, she knew she wanted to attend either veterinary school or culinary school; as she also has a passion for cooking. At the age of 21, during her undergrad studies, she knew that the veterinary field was the right choice for her. She attended Ross University in St. Kitts, and graduated in 1997. Jessica works on large, small, and exotics. She especially enjoys focusing on wildlife, birds, and turtles.
Her husband, Dr. Tommy Wilson, and she make an amazing team here at A to Z. They met at Oklahoma State University while working on their clinical rotations. They both came to West Texas to work their first jobs and were married shortly after that. They were always told that “you would never leave West Texas once you wore out your first pair of boots.” Obviously the saying ran true for them, as they fell in love with the area and opened A to Z Veterinary Clinic together. When Dr. Todia isn’t working with animals, you will find her spending with Tyler (her son) and Tommy. She also enjoys working in her garden, canning, and cooking. At A to Z Veterinary Clinic we reap the benefits of her other passion – cooking. On Monday mornings she treats us to one of her amazing home-made breakfast/brunch dishes; which of course are made with vegetables from her garden.
Tommy Wilson DVM – Veterinarian
Dr. Tommy Wilson (DVM) knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from the time he was in junior high school. However, he was pushed toward the medical field by many, and began as a pre-med student. After his second year of college, he knew that the only thing he wanted to be was a veterinarian because that was where his love was. He switched his major and pursued veterinary medicine instead. Tommy grew up on a farm outside Ponca City, OK. He attended Oklahoma State University for both his undergrad and veterinary studies. During his last year in veterinary school, during clinical rotations, he met his wife to-be, Jessica Todia. He graduated in the class of 1997. He took his first job in West Texas, and soon came to open A to Z Veterinary Clinic with Jessica. Tommy enjoys focusing on large animals, and arthroscopic/orthopedic surgeries. When Tommy isn’t working at the vet clinic he enjoys hunting, electric powered helicopters, old cars, and of course spending time with Tyler (his son) and Jessica.
LeAnn Bruner – Office Manager
Started volunteering at A to Z Veterinary Clinic and Animal Rehabilitation Center in January 2000. She immediately fell in love with the way the doctors practice veterinary medicine. She soon began working as a receptionist and is now the office manager. She has a great deal of respect for the compassion and care the doctors always have and still do put into each individual animal. She also finds it exciting to be a part of a facility that is always on top of the continuous advances in veterinary medicine. Working with such a wide variety of animals keeps the job exciting and she’s always learning something new. LeAnn and her husband, Jim, have a whole family of pets consisting of dogs, cats, horses, goats, a miniature horse, a miniature donkey, and a duck. When she is not a horse show watching her daughter Callie, she enjoys photography, working with Peeps and Creeps and training her dogs.
Barbara – Business Manager/Bookkeeper
Started work at the clinic as a receptionist. When she was offered the position of bookkeeper/business manager, she accepted and has been in that position for four years. Being able to do a job she enjoys while working with a wonderful staff has made this one of the most satisfying and rewarding jobs she has ever had. The great clientele and the amazing and varied animals that come to the clinic keep the job interesting. When Barbara started at the clinic, she had two dogs and two house cats. She and her husband now have six cats, three dogs, and three goats.
Jim Bruner – Equine Physical Therapy Director
Has been involved in the horse industry his entire life. He is an accomplished farrier and has worked many years on therapeutic shoeing cases for our clinic. He is also an outstanding horse trainer with exceptional horse handling skills. Jim and his wife, LeAnn, have a whole family of pets consisting of dogs, cats, horses, goats, a miniature horse, a miniature donkey, and a duck. When he is not taking his daughter, Callie to a horse show he likes to go hunting and fishing.
Yvette – Head Technician
Yvette joined our team in 2009. She loves the fact that the clinic has such a wide range and variety of animals. She especially enjoys working with canines. She was working at an animal shelter when she came to us to expand her knowledge different animals and their care. Her hobbies include helping with events for the non-profit, reading and caring for her 2 dogs, goat, bird and bearded dragon.
Adam – Veterinary Technician
My name is Adam Kyle Vree. I’m currently 21 and my birthday is February 20. I am the middle child of five kids to my parents, Paul and Denise Vree, who have been married for 29 years. I am in college right now and will get a bachelors in biology May of 2013. I also plan on going to veterinary school at Oklahoma State University in August of 2013. I do plan on coming back to work at A to Z Veterinary Clinic as a doctor. I love to read recreationally, even though I don’t have much time while in school, spend time with my family, and share God’s love by loving on anyone and everyone I meet. I have a continually growing relationship with Jesus Christ who helps me through everything I’ve been through and will go through. I have an eclectic taste in music and I look forward to the plans God has for me, Jeremiah 29:11.
